What services do MoveMyDorm.com provide?
We provide year-long storage, shipping and local moving help for college students.

Will you be picking up my boxes from my dorm or will I have to bring them out to you?
With our Valet Services, our trained professionals will pick them up directly from your dorm to ensure a hassle and stress-free end of the semester! If you select a Complimentary service, you must bring your items out to our company vehicle that will be located at a specified location on campus.

What is the size of the boxes?
Our boxes are 18 x 18 x 18.

How does the movemydorm.com storage program work?
Our team will deliver your boxes to campus, you pack up your items, we pick up your items and store them. Then we deliver when you are ready at your desired location.

How much does your college storage service cost?
The cost of storage is determined by the size of the item as well as the number of items stored. For a breakdown of pricing, please visit the pricing page here

Can I store my furniture?
Yes! Please visit this page to see pricing for various classifications of items.

Is there anything I cannot store?
You may not store cash, hazardous materials, liquids, firearms, or any perishable items. Refrigerators should be emptied prior to pick up.

Does movemydorm.com provide shipping services?
Yes! Movemydorm.com handles direct shipping from your current college or university to your home or new transfer school.

How does the shipping service work?
Our team will come to your college dorm or apartment, pick up the boxes to be shipped and transport them to our affiliated shipping company. Your belongings will then be shipped via UPS, USPS, or FedEx to the specified address.

You may also ship items that you have stored within our facility.

How much does shipping cost?
The cost of shipping depends upon the number of items, weight, and destination. In addition, there is a $50.00 service fee per item.

Are there any limitations on where I can ship my items?
No, we ship throughout the US as well as internationally.

Can you ship furniture?
Yes.

How do I schedule a pick-up date and time?
You may schedule your desired date and time by visiting the ‘Select Your School‘ page and clicking on your school. It will then take you to your school’s specific calendar, click on ‘Valet Storage Pick Up’ or ‘Valet Storage Delivery’ to be able to select your desired date and time, and then complete your reservation form .

Can I change my pick up time?
If you have a Valet appointment, Yes. You can reschedule via your confirmation email. Click on ‘View Appointment Details,’ and from there you will be given the option to reschedule. Please call, email or text us for last minute requests.

How do I choose a delivery date?
Delivery date appointments can be made at any time via your school’s scheduling page. Click here to get started.

If I live off campus can you pick up my things?
Yes. We can pick up your belongings via a Valet appointment if you live within five miles of your college or university. If you live outside of the five-mile radius, you may be subject to an additional fee.

Are my items insured?
You are automatically insured up to $100 per box stored. You may also reach out to us to purchase additional insurance. However, we are not responsible for any damages incurred through shipment. Please view our Terms & Agreement page for more information.

When do I pay for the service?
You will be billed in full for the amount of your storage after your pick-up is completed.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards.
